LeeChee Style Charcuterie Board for Any Holiday Celebration
Whether you’re looking for a fun snack for you and your family or something you can take with you to a fun holiday party, charcuterie boards are a wise choice. If you’re a person who likes books for holiday gifts, we have the perfect bookworm charcuterie board for you!
They’ve been touted as “adult lunchables”, which I believe is a good sign anyone will enjoy them. You also have to admit they look nice on a table with a bottle of sparkling grape juice. I created a LeeChee-themed charcuterie board for myself, and I thought it could be the blueprint for a great charcuterie board for a holiday party.
As I was making my Leechee board, I browsed the meats, cheeses, and fruits in a mild panic. I found myself googling inside the grocery store: “What cheese do I pick for a charcuterie board?” “Do I need more than cheese and crackers?” “HELP”. When I started to realize I was stressing over something as simple as cheese, that’s around the time I thought I could just use what I enjoy while still paying homage to our favorite fantasy city. That’s the note I think is most important: include things your family would enjoy! While I’m sharing my ingredients below, keep in mind that there are so many snack options. Feel free to swap out some options, or choose different things entirely!
A few things I thought might make this more kid-friendly were apple slices with caramel, Cheez-It crackers, and possibly some animal crackers. If you’re making a Christmas party charcuterie board, look at some red and green options to add in and make it more festive. Gingerbread could be amazing here! Don’t be too afraid to think outside the board here. Creative charcuterie ideas can make yours stand out!

Decorating the board is just as much fun as eating it. If you’re making a book club charcuterie board, think about the snacks that would make sense for the book but don’t forget about how to decorate it. I went simple here but fun-themed napkins, toothpicks, or even cutting the foods into shapes could add a lot of flare. Have fun with it, and enjoy your books as you snack!
